Amy E Beiter, MA, CCC-SLP I am a fully licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience. I have had the benefit of accumulating experience in different settings such as a children’s hospital, an assistive technology center, private practice clinic, several school districts, and a few early intervention agencies. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands and my master’s degree from San Diego State University. I am trained in using PECS - Picture Exchange Communication System and hold certifications for the Hanen programs It Takes Two to Talk (a program designed to teach parents how to help their young child learn language) and More Than Words (a program designed to teach parents to help children with Autism or social communication difficulties.) I am a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
My family and I have lived in Cle Elum since 2003 and my husband and I have loved raising our two children in this beautiful area. When I’m not working, I love volunteering at my church, participating in community theatre, engaging in memory keeping, gardening, going for walks, hanging out with my family, and traveling near and far.
